HANSON BEGIN WORK ON NEW ALBUM WITH RIC OCASEK;

FOLLOW-UP TO MULTI-MILLION SELLING DEBUT DUE IN STORES LATER THIS YEAR

Hanson has just entered the recording studio to begin work on their second studio album, collaborating with producer Ric Ocasek (Weezer, Hole, Iggy Pop, Guided by Voices, Jonathan Richman). The new album, which follows-up their multi-platinum major label debut Middle of Nowhere, is expected to be released this fall and will feature new tracks written by the band.

Middle of Nowhere, met with critical as well as commercial success, selling over 8 million copies worldwide and topping the prestigious Village Voice Pazz and Jop poll. Hanson also completed their first nationwide tour last year, selling out venues throughout the country, meeting with ecstatic fans and rave reviews.
